Shobogan: Homestuck Title Test (heads up that one of these personality tests is binarist -- the only gender options are...

Who doesn’t want to know the Homestuck Title they would have in the game?

This is something I’ve been creating for a long time, and finally got to a place where I feel…

With all of these character appreciation posts flying around why not have one for Vriska too? She’s pretty damn awesome and I’m tired of seeing all the hate flying around for her. Fuck the fandom police, she’s one of my favorite characters so here’s my appreciation post for the spidertroll.

Now stop whining!

*sigh* And here I was like, “Oh! She hasn’t made fun of it even though it’s not her thing!” respect respect respect. Buuut then this. *shrug* Oh well. It is funny though.

I felt just a bit put off by this post. I mean, I understand getting annoyed that people keep pestering her about it, which fans shouldn’t be doing, but I dunno. From a fan this might be seen as just them poking a little fun at Homestuck, maybe even poking fun at the way non-fans might see it, but from someone who’s on more than one occasion said they’re not interested in reading it, yet still has some kind of limited opinion on it, and has also on at least one occasion expressed that she sees how it’s presented(through chat-logs) as lazy, it just seems…almost insulting, I think.

I don’t really blame Yamino  since she was being bothered and it’s not like this’ll make me unwatch her or anything, but I was just put off, is all.

I have to agree. As a follower of hers I’m disappointed. This doesn’t come across as playful ribbing or even really a joke, but instead hateful and surprisingly disrespectful to Hussie. I suppose I was hoping she’d be the bigger person. I don’t know if I should be frustrated at her, or the fans who felt that they were entitled to fanart from someone who isn’t a fan.

So I wore my gay pride shirt to school today.

And in chemistry class I was talking to my friend, Jack, about a gay pride festival I went to. My teacher, stupid nosy bitch, decides she wants to join in on the conversation. She asks me what I’m talking about so I turned around and her reaction was to make a noise of utter disgust. She asked me to go to the main office and get a different shirt. But being the rebel that I am, I told her very politely “no, if you don’t like it you don’t have to look at it. It’s my shirt, not yours, and there’s nothing wrong with it.” She told me again that I needed to change my shirt. I said again that I wasn’t and she told me she would have to send me to my administrator for direct disrespect. So I put on a big smile and packed my stuff up while she wrote the discipline report up.

But the thing that made me so happy that I didn’t give in and change was that as I was walking out the door a girl in my class stood up and started to walk with me. My teacher was kinda pissed and told her that she would get a write up if she didn’t sit down. And this girl, she is my fucking hero. She says: “Write me up then. It’s one more story that I can go home and tell my mothers. And I’m sure my girlfriend would love to hear it, too.” Then she smiled and walked out. I just felt the need to share what happened today with my lovely followers.

school isn’t a democracy. sticking by what you believe in is good and admirable and all but it’s the wrong place to try to make waves.

I semi-disagree with the statement above, because the issue was not academic nor was it conduct based, until the student became disgruntled about the teacher reprimanding her based on personal prejudices. It was, initially, unprovoked, assuming that the story is true.

The real question is, what exactly was the content of the shirt?

Official Art for Rioichi Cooper in Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time. You get to play as the ancestors! Man this game is gonna be good!

This is a little embarassing, but seeing official art of Rioichi hits a bit of an emotional cord. The Sly Cooper games were some of the first video games I ever played, Thevious Racoonus being literally the first video game I ever played. Oddly enough one the strongest memories I have of my early gaming days, is the giddy thrill I got when you would acquire an excerpt from the Racoonus and were rewarded with a minute and a half animation about the respective ancestor whose moves Sly would be aping learning. Rioichi was my favorite. I still take a bit of absurd pride from being able to name more than five other Coopers.

This game is going to be great.

So I’m sort of jumping back into art/drawing, after being sort of creativly comatose for almost a year. This may be an indication that the meds are helping.

This is Timmy by the way.

please click through for full, it looks horrible on the dash.
